SUPPORTERS' CLUB AGM: POSTPONED UNTIL 28TH SEPT
(August 31, 2010)The Suppporters' Club AGM scheduled for 1st September has been postponed, and rescheduled for 28th September at 8pm.
Explaining the decision, outgoing Supporters' Club Spokesman Phil Morris confirmed that the original timetabling of nominations and notice requirements was not strictly in accordance with the club's constitution, leaving some supporters unhappy with the meeting going ahead.
With confirmation that Mathew Hill, the present Supporters' Club spokesman not seeking reelection, Morris explained that the postponement allowed for nominations to once again be advanced.
" There has not necessarily been a rush to become involved, and so the decision to postpone will allow the AGM to proceed constitutionally and give anyone who may have been thinking of standing another opportunity to put their name forward"
