Reserves missed opportunity

At the weekend our Reserves missed out on the chance to cut the deficit with the League leaders Thackley in a game that we should've taken all 3 points from.
Thackley produced a very good performance but with Farsley drawing level after going in at half time 1-0 down, everything was there for Farsley to then press forward and win the game. In fact Thackley made a change up front in the last 20 minutes and this made the difference with 2 quick and very well taken strikes.
Even then it was a 'GrandStand' finish as Farsley pulled one back with under 10 minutes to go but ran out of time.
The conditions spoiled what could have been an excellent game for these 2 very good sides. It was a game of two halves with a strong swirling wind making it difficult throughout but both teams coped well and provided the spectators with an entertaining afternoon. Well played to the Thackley lads, see you back here again for the deciding fixture in February.
