Reserves blown away
(January 23, 2012)The young reserves were blown away by Alwoodley in the Leeds and District Quarter Finals at the weekend. 5-1 was the final scoreline on a damp and windy afternoon in the leafy suburbs of Alwoodley.
Farsley looked good for their 1-0 lead after the opening 30 minutes but succumbed to a stronger more physical Alwoodley outfit in a game of 2 halves. It was especially disappointing because there are some close ties between the Clubs and Farsley just didnt bring their 'A' game and let themselves down in similar style to the exit last season against Gate FC.
